Hunger is a deadly enemy.

Hunger and starvation are responsible for more deaths in our world than any other cause, killing more people than all violent crimes, wars, and natural disasters combined.
Sadly, of all of the causes of death in our world, hunger is also the most preventable and the easiest to cure. You simply need good, healthy, nourishment within reach on a regular basis. That's easier said than done in most undeveloped nations of our world. Without proper agricultural technology and food production, storage, and transportation infrastructures, nor the economies to enable these things, these nations will continue to struggle.
The goal of the World Hunger Fund is to tackle hunger in countries that are economically challenged, especially countires that are susceptable to famine or drought, or have recently experienced some sort of disaster or political instability. Much of the people in these countries live off of less than $1-2 per day and any interuption in supply can be devastating. The statistics are grim, but we are working to make a difference.
